Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of crosstalkinternational.com and website features that link to these terms. By using the website, you agree to these terms and the policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for a minor’s use of the website.
Ministry and Educational Purpose
CrossTalk provides Christian ministry, biblical teaching, broadcast, music, educational, historical, and informational content. Content reflects the ministry’s faith perspective and is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, financial, medical, mental-health, counseling, or other licensed advice.
Ownership and Permitted Use
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its programs, videos, audio, articles, curriculum, books, music, graphics, photographs, logos, trademarks, designs, software, and other materials are owned by CrossTalk or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
CrossTalk grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the website for personal, noncommercial ministry and informational use. You may not reproduce, sell, license, distribute, publicly perform, republish, modify, scrape, frame, remove ownership notices from, or create commercial derivative works from protected material without prior written permission, except where law expressly permits.
User Submissions
If you submit a message, testimony, prayer request, review, photo, video, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights or any law. Do not submit confidential information that you do not want processed by CrossTalk.
Unless a submission form states otherwise, you grant CrossTalk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond to you, operate the service, maintain records, protect the website, and carry out the purpose for which you submitted it. CrossTalk will not publicly identify or publish a private prayer request or personal testimony without permission, except as required by law or necessary to protect safety.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
- use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, exploitative, or infringing activity;
- submit spam, deceptive requests, false information, malicious links, or unauthorized advertising;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, source code, databases, or administrative areas;
- upload malware, interfere with website operation, test vulnerabilities without written authorization, or evade security controls;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, harvest, overload, or republish website content in a manner that harms CrossTalk or other users;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- use CrossTalk names, logos, content, or services to imply endorsement without written permission.
Store Orders and Digital Products
Product descriptions, availability, pricing, shipping estimates, and images may change and may contain occasional errors. We may correct errors, limit quantities, refuse or cancel an order, or issue a refund when reasonably necessary, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, unavailable inventory, or delivery restrictions.
Purchases are also governed by the Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. Digital content is licensed, not sold, and may be subject to additional access or use restrictions displayed at checkout or delivery.
Donations
Donations are governed by the Donation Policy and any terms displayed by the payment processor. A donation does not purchase ownership, control, voting rights, or a specific outcome. CrossTalk retains discretion and control over gifts consistent with accepted restrictions and applicable law.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including payment processors, video platforms, social networks, app stores, travel providers, shipping carriers, and other ministry partners. CrossTalk does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms, privacy practices, statements, or acts. A link does not necessarily mean CrossTalk endorses every statement or service on the linked site.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” CrossTalk does not promise that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, free of harmful components, or suitable for every purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or results of using website content, although we work to correct known errors.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrossTalk and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages; loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunity; or damages arising from third-party services, unauthorized access, website interruption, or reliance on website content.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, CrossTalk’s aggregate liability relating to website use will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid CrossTalk for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim during the prior twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars, unless applicable law requires a different amount.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CrossTalk and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your unlawful use of the website, your content, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or end access to the website or a feature when reasonably necessary to protect the ministry, users, systems, legal rights, or service providers; to investigate misuse; or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact CrossTalk and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. Any action that cannot be resolved informally must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes and Severability
We may update these terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These terms and referenced policies form the entire agreement regarding website use unless a separate written agreement applies.
