Josh grew up around CrossTalk, but his own work started behind the camera. Since 1998, he has grown from filming and editing programs to helping lead international ministry, Today With God, and the technology that carries the work forward.

He started by doing the work.
Right after graduating high school, Josh began working part time with the ministry. By the fall of 1998, while attending Christ For The Nations Institute, the work had become a consistent part of his week. He filmed, edited, produced, built graphics, worked on sets, and helped do whatever was needed to get CrossTalk on the air.
That hands-on beginning still explains a lot about how he leads today. The responsibilities became larger, but they grew out of years of actually making the programs.
CrossTalk was founded and continues to be led by Dr. Randy Weiss.

From production to the field
When Today With God began, Josh helped film and produce the original series in Israel with Randy. He later carried the project into repeated ministry work in Cuba and India, helping document the work and move translations and distribution forward.

In recent years, Josh has helped direct the growth of Today With God into its app and web platform while continuing to serve CrossTalk on camera and in leadership.

Josh was there when the project was being filmed in Israel, and he has continued helping carry it far beyond the original television series—into missions, translations, curriculum, and the digital platform used today.

What matters most.
For all the different things Josh has worked on, family sits much closer to the center of his life than any title does. He and his wife have been married since June 2000, and together they have three children—Eli, Isaac, and Gabriella. Their family has since grown to include a daughter-in-law and grandson.
That love of family is also part of why CrossTalk's multigenerational story matters to him. Randy began the ministry, Josh grew up serving inside it, and another generation is now learning the work the same way: by showing up and helping.
