CrossTalk – On the Web with Randy

The Lord is working around the world. We have the privilege of following Him and serving with those called by Him in difficult regions of the world. Join us in praying for the fruitful work of such a one in Kazakhstan. The following prayer request (with names changed to protect our friends) was just received.

Mohammed sent the following:

Shalom dear brothers and sisters!
Please, pray for a very religious Jewish family. God sent me to serve the Jews of a local synagogue and the Rabbi, his wife, their sons, and their daughter.

I would love them to receive Yeshua from Natseret – the Jewish Mashiah (Jesus Christ).
Please , pray for it.

I responded as follows:

Dear Brother Mohamed,
We join you in praying for the family of this Jewish rabbi in Kazakhstan. It is wonderful that our Lord has called you in such a distant land to minister to His far away children that they would draw near to our Messiah.  I hope your efforts to serve in love will be pursued in sincerity and received with grace.

I assume you watch CrossTalk and Today With God in Kazakhstan on our Russian language versions on either cable or satellite. I will also ask you to pray for us as we are launching a Ukrainian version that will be cabled into most homes in the Ukrainian-speaking regions of the world. Of course it will also be on free-to-air satellite through CNL.

Thanks for writing and please send us the praise report as the Lord ministers to you, your rabbi and to other families in your region.

I must mention that it is a blessing for a non-Jew to help religious Jews, particularly regarding Sabbath-keeping issues.  A “Shabbos-goy,” as some might recognize, is deeply appreciated.  I hope in whatever capacity you are serving, it will include a genuine, abiding love that will be recognized by all with whom you come in contact.  Thank you for your heart toward my people.
